Name: Shota Kihaku
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Anime: Final Fantasy
Cannon?: No
Appearance:
Weapons: He carries a ritual dagger, but his magic is his standard weapon.
History: Shota was born to a very wealthy family. Much of their wealth came from investments made into the company Shinra, which was successful enough to make the Kihaku's near billionaires. Rather than living a life of luxury, however, the family was relatively grounded, and lived a quiet, reserved life in a large family manor, watched over by personal attendants. Shota lived much the same, but was a quick learner and an avid scholar.
Even at a young age, Shota showed a great curiousity about the workings of the world. He wanted to know how everything worked. He did not take part in many sports, but instead, devoted himself to books, and took frequent walks in nature. His family lived near Midgar, and Shota's treks sometimes took him all the way to the edge of the swamp, in which the ferocious Midgar Zolem lived. Of course, he never ventured into it.
He started off in school as a normal high school kid, albeit a smart one. He got excellent grades, and was reasonably athletic. One day, he stumbled upon an old tome in his basement, that had been there since before his family moved in. Interested, he started reading through it. He found that it was written in an Old English form of writing. Furthermore, it gave instruction in the way of magic. He continued reading on, and he then learned a spell that would separate the casters emotions. He prepared it properly and cast the spell, thinking that it might help him focus at school, and in life in general. He was wrong.
It did separate his emotions, but it separated them into separate entities inside of himself. He gave them all names that matched the emotion that triggered them. He also found that he could communicate with them in his mind, if he so chose. He continued the study of magic and dropped out of school. He is on his way to becoming a very accomplished magic user, with the help of his inner entities. Except for one.
One entity, Netami, sought to dominate Shota's mind, making himself the real Shota. In a pitched mental battle, Shota and the other entities managed to seal Netami into a mental prison formed by Shota himself, unable to escape.
Personality: Shota is largely an innocent boy who wants to live a normal life. He is a determined lad, who intends to always finish what he sets his mind to. He is loyal to the few friends that he has, and is fascinated by just about everything in the world. It is not uncommon for him to stop in the middle of a battle to admire something, even if it is the enemies own attack. He also has a strong sense of duty, and if he has caused a problem, he takes it upon himself to fix it.
Attacks: Shota has a limited list of spells, but he is usually clever in how he uses them.
Fire: A very basic fire spell that features a ball of flame being released at a target.
Thunder: The caster conjures a lightning bolt from the heavens, or from their hands to blast an opponent with.
Mini: The caster cuts a targets size down signficantly. How small the target shrinks depends on how much strength the caster puts into it.
Blizzard: The user bombards an opponent with fragments of razor sharp ice.
Protect: The user forms a shield against physical attacks in front of them. It is ineffective against magical attacks or special abilities, however.
Polymorph: This is a spell Shota spent some time practicing, but now that he has learned it, he is able to transform objects into other objects. This includes animals or inanimate objects.
Friends/Family: Shota's family is alive and well, although he does not see them much. They are on vacation on a separate continent, leaving Shota to take care of himself.
RP Sample: Shota's hand darted across his paper, holding a pencil. It was a test! A hard test! And yet, he knew every question. As usual. He was an "A" student, and had been since he'd entered school. He enjoyed learning. Not school so much, but learning? Yeah, of course he did! It took him the better part of an hour to finish the test, to make sure he got all the questions correct, and once he was sure, he got up, handed the test to his teacher and left the room. He cracked his neck a few times upon leaving. "Well.... that was satisfying..." He commented aloud.

Entities: Shota has multiple entities that are facets of his personality. They are listed below.
Name: Gekido
Appearance:
Emotion that triggers him: Rage, Fury, Anger, Frustration
Personality: Despite the emotion that triggers him, Gekido is actually quite well mannered and polite. He is a masterful spellcaster, much stronger than Shota. He has a certain charm, about him and is very charismatic. But, if one is so foolish as to anger him, his rage is truly terrible to behold.
Attacks: Gekido not only represents Shota's rage, he represents Shota's potential in Black magic. As a result, he has a great mastery over nearly all Black Magic spells. But his prowess is limited by a lack of many defensive spells (though he can improvise offensive ones) and a weakness at hand to hand or weapon combat (though he can attempt it, if coached by other entities). Gekido is able to use every Black Magic spell in existance, as well as Shota's Polymorph spell. He is also able to conjure up inanimate objects, up to objects as large as a small tree.
Name: Zaika
Appearance:
Emotion that triggers him: Sadness, guilt, sorrow, despair
Personality: ....What can I say? Zaika's pretty emo. He's very pessimistic and needs someone to keep an eye on him 24/7 or it's possible he'll commit suicide. He's very touchy and is more than likely to snap on anyone who disturbs him even a little.
Attacks: Zaika uses unusual techniques to the Final Fantasy universe. He seems to be capable of using powers that are beyond even Black Magic. With this said, Zaika represents the thief class. He is extremely quick and agile, but he can be easily defeated if he IS caught. He is the weakest out of the entities.
Kuraiken (Dark sword)- He creates a slash of dark energy with his hand.
Kurai Taihou (Dark Cannon): He fires a blast of darkness from his hand.
Dark aura: He creates an aura of darkness that serves as a powerful defence.
Name: Takai
Appearance:
Emotion triggered: Fear, Horror, Disgust, or when he's near death.
Personality: Takai is cold and merciless. He seems devoid of any emotion whatsoever, and almost never talks, except to say who he is. Interestingly enough, his weapon also appears when he transforms.
Attacks: Takai is the Fighter class! He has incredible offensive power, and reasonable speed. In close quarter combat he is a formidable opponent, using his Halberd with masterful skills. However, as a result of having such prowess in close quarters, he is weak at distance fighting or against magic.
Name: Genkaku
Appearance:
Emotion triggered: Confusion, surprise.
Personality: Genkaku is a serious figure. He doesn't speak much, preferring to allow his actions to speak for him. He's a voice of reason and always looks at things logically. He looks out for the others, and acts as a big brother of sorts. Unfortunately, he can become overprotective, to the point of irrationality, at times with his attempts to protect them.
Abilities: Like his name suggests, Genkaku is a master of illusions. He can create almost any illusion, and they're quite strong. He can create illusions of taste, touch, smell, sight and hearing, and can even change entire regions with his illusions. Though his illusions cannot cause physical injury, he can produce pain with them, and the shock of an imagined injury may be enough to defeat some opponents. His critical weakness is that he can only create illusions, and beyond that, has no way of defending himself in close quarters or in a magical duel.
Name: Karel
Appearance:
Emotion triggered: Whenever Shota feels he's done something stupid, although that's only when Karel feels like coming out.
Personality: Contrary to the emotion that triggers him, Karel is serious. He can take a joke or two, and he's very protective. He is a representation of the ninja class, fighting with incredible speed, hand to hand combat and prowess with the sword. However, he takes hits harder than Takai, when he does take them, and does not possess quite as much power. Like Takai, he is vulnerable to magical attacks.
Name: Toku
Appearance:
Emotion triggered: He has no emotion that is triggered. Whenever Shota is changing entities, there's a possibility that he'll show up instead of the entity that should have come up.
Personality: He's quite submissive, and will do anything to please someone, no matter what they ask. He's also quite protective.
Abilities: Toku is the White mage of Shota's entities. He has a complete mastery over all standard white magic spells, which include protection and healing.
Name: Netami
Appearance:
Emotion triggered: When Shota feels envious, or jealous of someone else. However, the emotion must be very strong, since this is one entity that Shota tries his hardest to keep in check.
Personality: Netami is a narcissist, and very obnoxious. He'll do anything to get his way, and enjoys toying with others, often in a very cruel fashion. True to the emotion he is triggered by, Netami will do anything in his power to obtain the means to 'cure' his own jealousy and envy. Possibly the most evil of Shota's emotions. Unlike the other entities, Netami will never allow Shota access to his powers, and will often attempt to wrest the powers of the other entities away for his own usage.
Netami is manipulative and greedy, willing to do anything to accomplish his goals. He is lethally intelligent and is a dangerous man. Shota feared Netami so much that he sealed Netami away into his mind, preventing him from ever emerging. Unfortunately, the seal does weaken from time to time. Netami is the most cunning of the entities. Netami is a variant of the Monk class, with traits of a Black Mage.
Abilities:
Mental power- Netami has a vast repertoire of mind altering spells. He is poor at direct magical combat (though does have a few spells), for the most part being limited to telekinisis. However, he is an expert and using his powers to bend people to his will. He can affect the mind in nearly any fashion, from hypnotic suggestion, to mind reading, and can outright control the minds of the weakminded. If angered, he can drive someone into insanity with his powers, or even directly attack their mind.
He also boasts telekinisis and can move objects with the power of his mind.
Transform- Netami can transform into almost anything. When he does, he gains the natural abilities of whatever he transforms into, but not traits that must be trained. Furthermore, he must be able to picture clearly what he will transform into. In battle, he will usually take the form of whatever the person fears most. The flaw with this spell, is that he also recieves the natural weaknesses of whatever he becomes.
Hand to hand: Netami is a powerful combatant in hand to hand combat. He is an expert martial artist, and capable of delivering blows that can shatter bone. He is also versed in grappling on the ground.
Spells: Netami's repertoire of spells is limited to those that Shota knows. He is incapable of using any further than first level spells.
