Not a friggin chance in 'ell!
Appearance:
Lucien is a bit of a wanderer, never staying around too long. It gets boring for him otherwise. So, he wears clothing appropriate for wandering long distances at a time. He wears a black t-shirt with dark blue pants and a belt, along with rather resiliant tennis shoes with socks. It's actually rather plain looking, but that's sort of the point. They're wanderer's clothes, they favor mobility and utility over aesthetic design. He also has a coat with a fur lining he wears at times as well. This looks cool compared to his other clothes, as it has lines of burgundy all over it.
However, those are simply his "casual" clothes. Lucian posesses a second set of clothes that he uses when he expects to go out on a mission, do something important, or fight someone. This set of clothing if vastly different than his first outfit. He still retains the black shirt, but now he has black pants, black boots and socks, and a belt for his pants. The biggest change is his overcoat. The overcoat he has is just a freaking awesome thing to look at. It's a black coat with white lining running up and down the frontal split, with similar lines extending up and down the shoulders and arms as well. It has a rectangular metal piece on the left arm as well. It's connected by three straps of material to a metal piece over the right breast.
Lucien actually looks rather good for someone who's constantly on the road. His skin is curiously light, as if he somehow managed to avoid all of the sun during his travels like a vampire and not pick up a tan. It's not something he really takes note of, but other people occasionally do. His skin, as a swordsman, is also curiously untouched, though he does have a scar here and there. They've just healed over the years, and they weren't very big to begin with, seeing as they were from stupid stuff like not holding his sword right or an accidental knife to the foot.
His hair is a bit wavy and spikey, and it goes to the left. Lucien keeps it in fairly good condition despite his travels, because it never hurts to look nice when conversing with other people, right? His teeth are also in fairly good condition. He brushes a lot. Though it's also for a more practical reason. Who wants all that gunk to build up in their mouths? You certainly shouldn't, nor should the person you're trying to talk to! It's just nasty man!
Other than that, Lucien has a rather lithe build, built for a lot of speed. He does have a six pac, and his arms aren't that skinny either, but he's mostly a speed kind of guy. He keeps himself healthy with all the training he does, along with all the cardio he gets while wandering between town to town. All in all, he looks fairly well for someone of both his profession and of his current residential status.
Weapons:
Longsword: This is a simple, basic long sword, useful for cutting things to bits and the stabbity stabbity. The only remarkable aspect of the blade is that it is actually pretty durable, being able to stand up to high powered attacks and things of a magical nature without completely shattering. It can also be used as a conduit for magic, but that's really about it.
Gale Blade: This is the first magical sword that Lucian ever laid hands on, gifted to him by his father. Unlike the previous weapon, this more closely resembles a Broad Sword in apperance. The blade itself is an odd green-blue color in apperance, slightly changing in darkness/lightness the closer the part of the blade is to the hilt or the tip respectively. The hilt is a similar, if darker, color to the blade, though the middle of the guard is inlaid with a green-ish white gem. The blade has a few abilities to it. The first is to generate a whirling gale around the blade itself, magically enhanced wind adding it's power to each attack. The second part of the ability is to discharge this wind in the form of a scything blast attack. It takes a moment to gather the necessary mana to pull this off, though.
History:
Lucian's tale began when his father was forced off the world of Ivalice when he got in trouble with one of the local evil overlords / evil deities. Something about going around thwartin their plans, killing their minions, stealing their doomsday artifacts and the like. It got so bad that the various factions of evil banded together to force him off world via use of the forbidden 'Banish + X-Space' combination. No one exactly knew what it did, but it was forbidden for good reason. Each use would weaken the dimensional fabric around the world. His father, Damascas F. Regal, fought like a mad beast, but was captured in the end, and banished from his home world.
Being sent through a rift in time and space was, for one explanation, not exactly pleasant. That was what one who had not experienced would say about it, upon hearing it. From his father's perspective, it was simultaneously both the most excruciating pain he ever felt, and the longest time he ever felt bored. You could only be in pain for so long before you got used to it and it stopped really being 'pain' anymore. What seemed like an eternity, later, a black hole in the sky spat is damaged form out by a house. This house housed an occupant who was also skilled with magic. Her, for indeed it was a her, name was Wendy B. Malthier. Upon finding him, she immediately freaked out a bit and brought him inside for treatment.
Over the following months, because yeah, it was that bad, the two came to know each other. He was a mage of great power and skill, and she was a Mage herself, skilled in the local magics. They did develop feelings for each other, but it wasn't until a bandit attack about two years later that it really cemented it. Simply put, she was captured, and he went to rescue her. Except when he got there, there wasn't really anything she needed saving from. She had taken down most of the bandit camp by herself, and was in the process of fighting off the leader and some minions.
Naturally, he jumped in anyway. He began to fight alongside her in the burning wreckage, slinging spells and more or less slaughtering the rest of them. Amidst the carnage and bloodshed, a bond was formed between the two, not just of lovers, but of comrades and teammates. After disposing of the rest of the camp, and promptly looting/burning what was left, the two went back to her house. You can imagine what happened after that. It was a fight fraught with near death and very narrow misses. So of course the first thing they did was pass out. What were you expecting? They did decide to get married after that though.
Seven years after, Lucian was conceived.
With all the insanity that soon followed in the years after that, though the two decided to teach their son the arts of Magic and Swordsplay, which would be rather essential in his survival later.
Eventually, at the age of nineteen, Lucian left his mother and father's house to go out into the world. Why? Partially because he felt that he could do more good out in the unexplored (for him) world. The other part was actually because he had more than a little bit of wanderlust in him. He never liked staying in one place for very long, and despite the fact that he did love his parents, and did actually like his home, he felt the need to leave.
The next two years were spent on the road, traveling from place to place, putting the skills both his parents to good use. Along the way, he encountered fellow swordsman and future good friend Luke Tellas, and assisted him with a problem he and his family had been having. That problem being demonic cultists in the woods doing all sorts of cultist-y activities. It whatever they were doing, it was killing off the crops they were producing.
Banding together, the two stormed the cultist's lair and slew a great number of them. Unfortunately they succeeded in summoning a fairly powerful demon, one that nearly killed the two of them after it, naturally, turned on its 'masters'. Being somewhat reckless, and not wanting to loose his friend, Lucian jumped in the way of an otherwise fatal attack, stabbing the demon through the head in the process. That nearly killed him off for good, were it not for the fact that Luke was a user of White Magic. He wasn't skilled enough to completely restore him, but it was enough to stabilize Lucian and get him back to Luke's house.
After receiving proper treatment, after a good, solid month, he departed from the humble place with both gratitude and quite a few provisions for the road.
Lucian set off from there and out into the wide world once again, with a smile on his face and a spring in his step.
The story after that? Well, dear reader. . . that is yet unwriten.
The stage is set. The actors chosen. The director calls. The curtains go up. Let the play, begin. . .
Personality:
Alignment: Neutral Good
Overall, Lucien is a bright, happy person. He does what he can when he can, and puts a hundred percent of himself into it. It's just how he was raised. He's generally a good guy, and helps out others in need if they need it. He also has a fondness for cutting up demons, evil doers, and scaring the bejesus out of rude people. It's simple really, he likes doing good things, and likes punishing those who are wicked. On the surface, he seems like a rather straightforward kind of guy. For the most part, he is.
However, in battle, his whole personality changes. Especially for difficult battles, his banter and attitude drops away to reveal an extremely focused fighter. Whether fighting one person or multiple people at once, he keeps his calm, and simply focuses on the fight. It's simply how his mind operates under the duress of battle. He acts as a professional while fighting, or as close to a professional as he can act. Being angry doesn't help, nor does letting emotion get in the way. He keeps calm and carries on.
However, he will inflict righteous fury upon you if you do somehow manage to get him to that point. This is generally reserved for enemies though. For friends, the most he would get is perhaps a bit miffed at them. For enemies though. . . Yeah. Nassomuch. He will not hesitate to kill you, screw your Freudian excuse or whatever family you might have! You're setting a horrible example for them! Well, that's really all you need to know about Lucien. Likes doing good, likes smashing evil, and is scary when fighting.
He isn't, however, stupid. He does know the world generally operates on the shades of gray and not just black and white. He's aware of the lines between the distinctions and all of that. Sometimes morally ambiguous acts are used to make a greater good. He still doesn't really like that, as he believes that there are more than one way to get those things done, but he does understand why people do it. He doesn't approve of it, but he does understand.
Attacks/Abilities
Spell Infusion: This is a pretty cool, if basic, ability. More or less, by channeling magic through whatever weapon he has at the moment, Lucian can essentially wreath it in the spell. It gives him a bit more versatility with his attacks.
Fluid Magic: This is more of a way of thinking about something than an actual attack. The user is taught to invision magic as not just being in a static form, but something that the user's will can shape. For example, one could cast both Fire as a simple fireball, or as a focused beam of fire. The users imagination allows the spells to take on new forms and shapes. It does, however, have to be within reason for a spell to be shaped like that.
Magic Training
Lucian is the son of two Mages with different spell systems. He has been taught to be able to utilize both of them, if only at a basic level for each at the moment. He possesses the magic skills of both the worlds of Kingdom Hearts and Fairy Tail, and thus he has access to both the spells of those worlds. Lucian also has an affinity for magic, and can probably learn other Worlds magic systems as well, if he is trained by someone well versed in their own Worlds system.
Black Magic: Black Magic is the name given to a variety of different spells, generally specializing in dealing direct damage to the caster's target, though there are other spells belonging to this category that have other, more strategic uses. Spells in this category generally have an elemental affinity of some type, though this does not apply to all of the magic. Those who use this type of magic are generally reffered to as 'Black Mages', though this is not always so.
Fire Magic:
Fire - This is the basic, and first, of the 'Fire' line of spells. It generates a burst of flame to damage the user's foes. Not terribly damaging, but it still packs a good punch. Does minor Fire-Elemental damage.
Blizzard Magic:
Blizzard - This is the basic, and first, of the 'Blizzard' line of spells. It generates a sudden blast of freezing cold to damage the user's foes. Its not all that damaging at this level, but it can still do some damage when it's needed. Does minor Ice-Elemental damage.
Thunder Magic:
Thunder - This is the basic, and first, of the 'Thunder' line of spells. It generates a sudden strike of lightning to crash into the user's foes. At this level, the spell doesn't do quite as much damage as it could, but it is still a reliable spell to damage foes with. Does minor Lightning-Elemental damage.
Ex-Quip: Ex-Quip is a unique magic hailing from the Fairy Tail world, and is of the Caster-Type Class Magic of that world. This Magic allows the users to store items in a pocket dimension so they can easily summon it at any time, even during battle, which gives them a high level of flexibility in combat. However, there is a limit to how much the pocket dimension can store. Ex-quip can be used for simple or for combat-related purposes. Some users may just choose to use it to change their clothing. More skilled users are able to Ex-quip different weapons in battle, and it is even possible to Ex-quip armors in the midst of battle.
Ex-Quip Style - The Swordsman: Lucian's Ex-Quip is mainly focused on the swords he uses. What kind of sword does not matter, as long as it qualifies as a 'Sword', he is able to store it in his pocket dimension. This is a more offense-oriented Ex-Quip, differing from that of other styles such as 'The Knight', by allowing the user to actually swap elements from other swords on to the one currently Equipped. There is a limit to how many swords are able to be stored in the pocket dimension, however. The size of the pocket dimension is dependent on the user's magical ability.
Current Ex-Quip Inventory: Longsword, Gale Blade.

Naturally such a sight was a wee bit panicking to normal civilians. The fact that the town watch wasn't really prepared to handle such a horde of Heartless did little to help. Being the upstanding young man that he was, though, he offered his aid in fending off the swarm. Lucian rushed to their aid, slashing through a Heartless that was about to take the heart of some unforunate guardsman that would have been taken unaware. Spinning around, Lucian extended his hand.
"Blizzara!"
A cone of frost and cold enveloped and destroyed a score of Shadows that were unfortunate enough to be in his line of sight. That, however, left him open to the sudden Soldier dynamic entry-ing in from the left and kicking him in the side, hard. Grunting, he slashed the thing in half, bisecting the creature of darkness and banishing it. Wincing and clutching his side, he glanced around at the battlefield.
I reaallly wish I knew some White Magic now. It's nothing bad, but it might interfere when I need to do something important.
Noticing another advancing wave, he 'Tched', and thrust his right arm out at the mindless beings.
"FIRAGA!"
An incinerating wave of fire roared out, consuming and devouring the horde. Slightly grinning, he turned back to the battle. Tossing his current sword behind him, he Ex-Quiped his Gale Blade into his right hand. Gathering the necessary mana, the sword began to hum with power, a fierce torrent of wind roaring into life around it. Somewhat hampered by his injury, he charged into battle, cutting down many variety of Heartless and helping the Watch where he could.
This was gonna be a long battle. . .
