Revised as of August 12th-20th, 2012
1. NO EXPLICIT SEX. This is to comply with Proboards terms and conditions. And yes, they WILL delete the board if this rule is broken. Language and Violence at In Character thread digression.
2. Stay away from chatspeak and stickycaps. The C-box is the general exception to this. Also, all posts must comply with rudimentary (fundamental) grammar. We're not asking for elite posts, long lengths, or the deepest vocabulary use. However there's no excuse to avoid simple basics like Capitalization and Punctuation. Your posts should be easy to read and not run-ons.
3. Out of Character Indicators. Whenever speaking OOC within the RP boards, please mark such notations to avoid confusion. Also, there are some cases where an OOC mark becomes necessary; such as:
4. Don't flame, bait, harass, godmod, powerplay, etc; The usual nasties. Be respectful and level-headed. No one wants to be at a forum where everyone's mean and arrogant. PM behavioral staff or an Admin if problems occur. Staff may, at any point due to complaints, review your character for possible suspension.
5. Going away for a while and don't want to loose your characters? Leave an absent notice so that we know you haven't abandoned the boards.
6. All Out of Character mid-thread arguments should be solved in 4-5 OOC posts total. If an agreement cannot be reached, all parties must agree on a neutral staff member to judge the outcome based on the arguments.
7. No powerplaying. This means having your character be utterly indestructable. (ex: dodging every move, getting no damage, being a bagillion times more powerful than everyone else) it takes the fun away from everything. This goes for Godmodding too. If you are caught being overly ridiculous (even with canon characters)
Excessive Re-Reviews and Deletions will equal Member Warnings. Three strikes and you WILL be suspended for 2 weeks.
8. When posting in a location, try to use the canon area of that location (within reason). When moving to a new location, end the thread (note for staff that it is finished) and start a new one in the appropriate board. When leaving (or dropping) a thread, say so this way others aren't left waiting in limbo. Same if you choose to skip a posting turn.
9. Active vs Inactive Threads: As long as a thread has not been officially ended by OOC notification (example: 2 of the 3 characters never left the thread) it will count as active. An Inactive thread is a thread that has not been posted in for 3 weeks. If that thread makes it to 4-5 weeks without any posts, it will be declared dead and deleted. In such a case, any developments that may have happened will NOT COUNT. Exceptions for missing members may apply. Threads that are officially ended will be locked/moved by a moderator.
10. You may make as many characters as you wish (and keep up with). Yes, they may be on the same account (or different if you prefer). Yes, you may place them in multiple threads at once and use liquid timelines. Each individual character may be in up to 5 Active Threads at a time. Inform proper staff about any characters you want to discard. Original Characters must meet [These] requirements.
11. Inactive characters WILL be deleted. Inactive characters are defined as characters whom have not been used in over 8 weeks (two months roughly), regardless of Member Activity. Character Mods will PM users who have inactive profiles. Once a profile is marked as inactive, you have 3 days (unless more is asked for) to place them in a thread. After that, they're gone.
12. In order to be approved, a profile must have a stamp from at least two staff members.
**Just as a suggestion, if your thread is moving slow, make another one and be in multiple threads. We'll help you find something. This also applies if you have having trouble figuring out where to go next or what plots you can get involved in (if not start your own).

3. Out of Character Indicators. Whenever speaking OOC within the RP boards, please mark such notations to avoid confusion. Also, there are some cases where an OOC mark becomes necessary; such as:
- Leaving a thread, be it IC-ly or just because you don't feel like continuing it.
- Moving to a new location, for example: ((Next post in London - “'The Journey Continues'))
- Ending a thread, so that staff knows to lock it and save the thread (otherwise it'll accidentally be deleted)
4. Don't flame, bait, harass, godmod, powerplay, etc; The usual nasties. Be respectful and level-headed. No one wants to be at a forum where everyone's mean and arrogant.
