Name:
Fang (Skie Demiji)
Age:
several hundred years (although probably closer to 500, Skie always verbally changes her age)
Gender:
Female
Race:
Imp
Anime:
Yu Yu Hakusho
Cannon?:
No
Appearance:
Her height is about 4'10-4'11. As such, she often gets mistaken for a child (despite the B-cup chest), or an Elf Child thanks to the ears. She often will hide them underneath some sort of hat so that she may fit amongst humans without being detected.
Weapons:
Two daggers. Not Sais, daggers. She uses them for close range rather than throwing.
Personality:
Skie really isn't much on authority, preferring to live her own way by her own code. She is not unfriendly, but isn't always the nicest person around and tends to either put off a calm demeanor, or a bubbly hyper display of energy upon contact. The demon will never be afraid to say what is on her mind, no matter the consequences or who it may offend. Very laid back and easy going, Skie doesn't have much of a problem with anything unless she's in the mood to be.
Skie loves to have fun, and will find the strangest things entertaining (one time Lestre dragged her literally by the ear, and she laughed the whole way, letting him). She's easily amused and/or distracted, and will most often be seen acting like an idiot. Although she acts like one, it's exactly that: an act. She's easily able to plan ahead, but somehow ends up just making much of it up as she goes along. It's very easy or her to turn off her caring gene and large "heart", as being raised a Mercenary by a family of such a profession, the Imp can almost flip a switch and become very cold. Apathy is her greatest weapon. It's also her defense mechanism, which leaves her as seeming distant from people despite her bubbly and care-free attitude.
She's always looking for a vacation, but never seems to be able to take one. And so she'll play pranks on others to make them just as miserable as her. Despite her knack of eating them, the Imp loves the human world, and human world entertainment. She's practically addicted to "Goblin City", and will often be found quoting popular film/culture. This little imp also loves to push people's buttons and see just how far she can irk them until they snap. She'll also always try to accept responsibility where and when she can for her mistakes.
History:
The Demiji family was a family of Mercenaries for generations. Skie was raised to be a Merc as well by both parents. Growing up, she was taught mostly by their father in the ways of combat and tact. Her mother handled the historical and geological aspects (etc) of learning. Especially in terms of the family business. Skie was a happy and diligent, if only because she didn't complain about how harsh her father was while training her.
At the age of about 5 or 6, she was brought to the center of the Aurora Chasm in the Demon World. Escorted by Sturm (Father), the girl was given a small amount of food supplies, a compass, and her daggers. She was told to find her own way out of the maze. It was sink or swim. Eyesight was virtually useless, as light shined upon the crystal walls in magnificent displays of pastel color that depending on the brightness could make it seem as if the young imp was walking in a sea of light. Skie was forced to fend for herself in the harsh (for a child's perspective) environment. It took her three weeks to finally find the way out. Now, to clarify a bit. Despite what she thought, Sturm and Alhana (mother) indeed DID keep a watchful eye on her and made sure she didn't die out there. Knowing the chasm inside and out, the two of them trailed the young imp without detection and in the dead of night would sneak them obscure and hard-to-find clues, or strategically place more supplies for her to conveniently come across. They kept things very controlled. This was how her hearing started to develop. Alhana held a rather good proficiency in illusions. She would often cause a contrasting sound to pop up, one that would be difficult to pick out in the first place, and then made it very faint. Between this and following the Echoes, Skie eventually got out. Needless to say, it wasn't fun.
Skie's training continued until the age of...roughly 12 or 13 when her parents got into a very nasty split of the family. The group was given offers from two rival demon groups situated on the border between Raizen and Mokuro's territories. Sturm wanted to take one side, Alhana the other. Needless to say, things got messy. Skie's parents actually dueled the argument out. Then again, that's how all all arguments were solved in the house: fighting. Needless to say, Skie rarely ever got her way. Both of her parents were bloodied up, but her mother was the most damaged. This is the part where normally mom would be like, "alright we do it your way". Nope. This time she broke off from the family, took half the company with her, and did her own will. Separation, but not Divorce. Sturm didn't seam to care. Skie. Was. Pissed. Family had always been very important to her. For her family to be destroyed with shrugs of the shoulders and a wave goodbye...it left the girl with a bit of an issue regarding that.
The Imp split from her father, and branched off to start her own group. She was obsessed with the opposing forces of Sturm and Alhana Demiji. Lestre, Sturm's old drinking buddy, had been like a second father to Skie, and under Sturm's permission broke out of the group to help the younger Demiji. Since Skie was known as the daughter of the other two, it wasn't long until she had made her own nitch in the worlds under "Fang".
The History which takes place at this point is the part that some already know, in regards to what happens to Skie's family, how her parents meet their separate deaths, and the plot twists concerning a demon named Terrence. However, I'm leaving it out because I would like to actually RP this chapter.
Bloodline:
The Demiji Lineage is descended directly from the blood of a demon named Baltheir who was a powerful King of the Demon World in ages long passed. Long before the reigns of Raizen, Murkuro, and Yomi. Skie is the latest in this line, and hopes to one day be able to locate and re-open his lost Tomb in order to claim a pair of daggers that the Old King himself had used for fighting. However to open this place (if it's even found), She will need the three keys which have taken the shape of gems. It is said that the fourth "key" guards the tomb itself.
Special Abilities:
Reversion: Skie can revert back to the traditional furry, short, green, winged imp with beadly black eyes. Brings her Spirit Class down to a C+. Great for getting passed the Kekkai Barrier.
Death Vixen: A large increase in all her attributes and skills (up a full spirit class), but leaves her with a VERY low defense (one or two hits and she'll be done). Takes a lot of energy, and afterward usually leaves her unconscious for a few hours.
Five Point Markers: Each time Skie hits a spot on the person (injury or no) a symbol appears, marking the place. It's a set up for her 'Wheel of Fortune'.
Attacks:
Dagger Dance: Quickened/hard to read movements, and three extra images of her that look and feel completely real. (Suzaku-like clones, NOT Naruto-like clones). However, when one of them is killed, the damage gets distributed among the others, and the original takes part of the damage when any/all of them are killed.
Wheel of Fortune: Designed as an overdrive/Limit-break kind of move, it'll pack a decent punch. A wheel forms of demonic energy, upon it's edge are five symbols. One for each place of mark. As it spins, Skie throws both of her daggers. Which ever symbol(s) they hit, are the marks that suffer a small self-explosion.
+ Each Symbol stands for a different body part. So if Skie got one strike on each wrist, if one dagger hits the symbol for "wrist" they both will get injured.
+ The size of the explosion depends on how much demon energy Skie puts into the attack, and the depth of the wound. Shallow wounds won't be nearly as damaged as deep wounds.
+ Unless the fight is life-threatening or they really piss her off, Skie will never put a great amount of energy into her Wheel of Fortune. On her worst day however, a slice on the wrist can severely ruin a hand, if not come very close to blowing it off entirely. This of course, would take a lot more energy than she'd care to use, and normally only during "death vixen".
Imp's Fire: Her silvery-gray energy envelopes her blades like fire, adding an extra searing bite to her attacks.
Bite Strike: Instantaneous 'teleport' behind the opponent, stabbing her daggers into them. One directly on each side extremely close to the heart (can or cannot be a killing strike upon digression).
Living Friends/Family:
+ Lestre - Right Hand Man, often mistaken as the "real leader" of Skie's group. Just the way she likes it, as nobody suspects the cute one.
+ Terrence - Interest of sorts, he pops up when Skie seems to be in need of assistance. Likes to play the "Knight in Shining Armor" and a rather... Tuxido Mask-esque role.
RP Sample:
Fang had to sneak her way into the tavern that night. Well, correction. She didn't HAVE to. She just chose to. The imp was only about four-foot-ten, maybe four-foor-eleven. Merely the size of a child, yet endowed as the fully grown woman that she was. Short hair that was grass-green and sliced that length by a knife of some sort framed her face and bounced along with her happy movements.
Her sharp canines flashed in an impish grin, her ice-blue eyes glowing with youthful cheer....and a side of devilish mischievousness. Slipping in behind another customer to the bar, the girl successfully escaped the eyes of most other people and snatched an empty table, right in the center of the place. She wasn't bothering to hid her identity. Fang. A Mercenary Demon straight from the demonic realms. And all the regulars there knew it too, hence why most stayed nice and far away.
She wore a teal-colored off-the-shoulder T-shirt and blue jeans. Nothing fancy, nothing "fighterish" or imposing. Just innocent childness. Tatooed onto her shoulder was a black design. At first it looked like nonsense, but to the creative mind it became an 'S' and an 'F' entwined on top of one another. After several minutes of being ignored by everyone (or unnoticed if you happen to have been lucky enough), she grinned her toothy and fanged grin, and raised her hand above her head as if in class.
With an insane little giggle and bright cheer, she waved it back and forth at the bar and called out girlishly, "Yo Peeps! Can I getz a House Ale?" There were several groans...and more than one facepalm.
